The primary improvements in this first phase include Congo Falls, a sprawling state-of-the-art gorilla habitat, to feature two Western Lowland Gorilla troops.
The zoo needs extraordinary gifts above and beyond annual support. The zoo’s donors understand the value and importance of sharing gorillas with those who will never have the opportunity to see them in the wild and creating interest in conserving the gorilla species in Africa.
